Current Research
By their very nature, supply-chain problems are not easily solved by one discipline. Rather, the complexity of issues requires an interdisciplinary approach. Talented researchers from different disciplines within the University of Illinois at Chicago have come together to solve problems and help partners implement advanced solutions to supply-chain management issues.
The center has identified the following emerging issues and is actively engaged in researching these areas:
- Next Generation of Supply Chain Cost Evaluation Systems
- A Freight Policy Analysis Tool (FPAT) for Supply Chain Systems
- Synthetic Data Generation for Small-Area Demand Forecasting of Freight Flows
