and Roll Hall of Fame award winners, the Four Tops. The Four Tops are known for chart-
topping hits, including "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)", "Reach Out I'll Be There",
and "Baby I Need Your Loving".

The Commodores
The UIC Forum provided an exhilarating backdrop for the eleventh annual S.E.E.Benefit featuring a performance by the Commodores. Guests were treated to powerful renditions of Grammy Award-winning hits from the Commodores‚ including “Night Shift‚” “Brick House‚” and “Easy.”

S.E.E. Benefit 2010
Erykah Badu
The tenth anniversary of the S.E.E. Benefit on December 3‚ 2010 featured an exhilarating performance from Erykah Badu‚ Grammy award winner and accomplished actress. This year’s event was held at its original location at the Student Services Building and the UIC Pavilion.

S.E.E. Benefit 2009
Ramsey Lewis
The ninth annual S.E.E. Benefit on December 4‚ 2009‚ featured an evening of electrifying jazz from Ramsey Lewis‚ a native Chicagoan‚ UIC alumnus‚ and multi-Grammy award winner. The opening act was vocalist extraordinaire‚ Julia Huff.

S.E.E. Benefit 2008
The Temptations Revue
The Temptations Revue featuring Dennis Edwards performed all the best hits of the influential Motown group at the eighth annual S.E.E. Benefit. The UIC Forum offered a warm atmosphere as the artists stepped back in time on December 5‚ 2008 to sing timeless hits including “My Girl”‚ “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg”‚ “Papa was a Rolling Stone”‚ and “I Can’t Get Next To You”.

S.E.E. Benefit 2007
Daryl Hall and John Oates
Daryl Hall and John Oates brought holiday cheer through their performance at the Seventh Annual S.E.E. Benefit on November 30‚ 2007. Best known as Hall and Oates‚ the duo performed songs from their new holiday CD and delivered an amazing rendition of their memorable songs including “Private Eyes” and “Rich Girl”.

S.E.E. Benefit 2006
Earth‚ Wind & Fire
Chicago’s own Earth‚ Wind & Fire gave an amazing performance at the sixth annual SEE Benefit on December 1‚ 2006. This year’s benefit featured the presentation of the first SEE Scholarship to Karla Talley‚ a marketing major in the College of Business Administration.

The Boston Pops
The fifth anniversary SEE Benefit was a special evening of effervescent‚ black tie elegance that featured the Boston Pops Family Holiday Tour at the UIC Pavilion on December 3‚ 2005.

S.E.E. Benefit 2004
Roberta Flack and Isaac Hayes
The fourth SEE Benefit featured two great performances. Soul‚ jazz and pop singer‚ Roberta Flack‚ was the first featured performer followed by soulful Isaac Hayes at the concert held at the UIC Pavilion on November 19‚ 2004.

S.E.E. Benefit 2003
Cook‚ Dixon‚ and Young
Cook‚ Dixon‚ and Young performed a highly entertaining and theatrical concert as the featured act at the third annual SEE Benefit on December 5‚ 2003.

S.E.E. Benefit 2002
Ray Charles
Following the success of the 2001 SEE Benefit‚ the new tradition was continued in 2002 with a concert featuring Ray Charles at the UIC Pavilion. The UIC Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs is proud to have hosted Ray Charles on one of his last concert tours ever. This hall of famer will be remembered as the man who brought the audience to their feet when he performed with Victor Vanacore‚ who conducted a 40-piece orchestra of local musicians‚ on December 6‚ 2002.

S.E.E. Benefit 2001
The first Supporting Excellence Endowment Benefit featured two great events on two great evenings.
Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin was the first SEE Benefit performer. The Queen of Soul performed with a full horn section at the newly renovated UIC Pavilion on November 30‚ 2001.
The Irish Tenors
The Irish Tenors performed at the UIC Pavilion for the second evening of the 2001 SEE Benefit. Their holiday celebration on December 1 included a full orchestra.
