Daughters @ Work Day
Each year, the Office of Women's Affairs uses our time, resources and woman-power to organize cornerstone events that focus on the strengths of women young and old.
UIC Daughters @ Work Day provides girls with positive work role models, exposes girls to the variety of career possibilities available to them and showcases UIC as a pace they might consider choosing to pursue their educational or career aspirations.
The Office of Women's Affairs is sorry to inform you that we will not be hosting our Daughters @ Work Day event this April. This program was cut based on budget rescissions that were estimated for this fiscal year. We hope to bring Daughters @ Work Day back next year.
Keep an eye out for more information in March 2010. Next year’s event is scheduled for Thursday, April 22, 2010.
