The Office of Women's Affairs and the Campus Advocacy Network offer students several ways to get involved and make a difference in women's lives on campus and in Chicago.
Men Against Sexual Violence (MASV)
Men Against Sexual Violence (MASV) is a student group aimed at engaging men from all communities in the fight to end male-perpetrated gender violence. By hosting workshops and events we encourage men to question the negative aspects of traditional masculinity and embrace an alternative vision of manhood that is not inherently violent, sexist, or misogynistic. We also provide spaces for men to discuss issues of sexual violence and masculinity without fear of being judged, as men are not only perpetrators of sexual violence but survivors as well. In addition, MASV remains accountable to and works with women as women have been doing anti-violence work for years. This is everyone's issue and men can help stop sexual violence!
