- RVA is an Illinois not-for-profit organization with two primary goals:
to assure survivors of sexual assault are treated with dignity and compassion;
and to affect changes in the way the legal system, medical institutions
and society as a whole respond to survivors. This is a simple information

- This extensive site provides information on sexual assault, rape, child
sexual abuse, domestic violence, false memory syndrome.
Violence Against Women Teaching Guide
- This teaching guide covers genital mutilation, wife abuse, rape, and
pornography. It was prepared by a group of senior Women's Studies students
at Gettysburg College in May, 1993. Each section focuses on incorporating
material on a particular form of violence against women into existing courses,
including an annotated bibliography of suggested readings for students,
resources for faculty, and concrete examples of how to use this material
in the classroom.
