The
Elie Wiesel Foundation sponsors annual essay contests in the field of ethics.
The contest is open to full-time juniors and seniors, and prizes range from $500
to $5,000. The contest is intended to challenge students to focus on ethical questions
and issues facing them in a complex and ever-changing world. Entrants need a faculty
sponsor, and the deadline for mailed entries is in January. For more information
see the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
