Dear Alumni,

It's fall again and while you might not be on campus anymore, new students (both first-year and transfers) have come in droves! It's really exciting to see the new faces.

However, we miss your faces, too. PLEASE stay in touch and know that we love to see you any time you can stop by Rainbow Resource or attend one of the programs. You are always welcome!

Whether you graduated years ago or just this past spring, we welcome all LGBTQA alumni back to the Gender & Sexuality Center! This is an exciting time to be an alumnus, as the GSC and the University of Illinois Alumni Association are working together on gaging LGBTQA alumni interest.

Some questions we've been asking alumni are the following...

• Are you interested in a LGBTQ UIC Alumni group?
• What kind of activities would you participate in?
• Are you willing to take a leadership role in this group?

On June 9th, we held our first LGBTQA Alumni meeting to discuss, and we'll be planning another alumni get together. We'd love to have alumni be part of the upcoming Chicago Pride Parade on Sunday, June 28, 2009.

For future alumni-specific events, check back here. Otherwise, all GSC programs and events are always open to alumni. Please keep in touch!
