Safe Zone Trainings: Creating a
More Inclusive Campus Climate for All

Research is a driving force at UIC.

We are fortunate to have many faculty members throughout the University who conduct nationally recognized research specifically around gender and sexuality as well as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender identities, issues and communities.

Faculty and students can connect in mutually beneficial relationships through The Undergraduate Research Experience offered by The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs.

In addition, the GSC provides research support by publicizing studies and calls for papers to students, faculty, staff, and community members through our listserv and by celebrating projects by organizing public presentations.
