Dining at UIC

Dining Services on campus will be available for conference registrants to purchase meals.



The Center Cafe is located on the first floor. This full-service cafeteria offers a wide selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. Dining Services extended their hours on Sunday to offer a light breakfast starting at 8:00 a.m.

On Friday night, until 7:00 PM, full Grill service is available.

On Saturday, from 9:30 - noon, a full breakfast service is available. From 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, the following will be open

 Terra Del Sol: Mexican  Pizza Gusta  Full Salad Bar
 Signature Deli: Sandwiches  Cafeteria Entree Line  Grill: Burgers etc

Sunday: Continental Breakfast at 8:00 AM
Regular breakfast starts at 9:30; Full food areas mentioned above open 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM.



In the SRC Atrium, the SRC Cafe and Market offer a variety of foods. Open for breakfast and lunch, they feature Taco Bell Express as well as the best grilled chicken sandwich around! The Market is open until 11:00 for night-time munchies. The SRC Cafe and Market is located in the residence hall on the ground floor of the Student Residence and Commons, just north of Chicago Circle Center. There is a connecting walkway on the second floor from the Chicago Circle Center to get into this building. On Friday night, the following are open until 11:00 PM

On Saturday, all of the above choiuces will be open from 7:00 PM until 11:00 PM.

Within easy walking distance of campus, there are a variety of excellent Italian, Greek, and Thai restaurants. These may difficult to get to and back during the one hour lunch break but are easily accessible for dinners on Friday and Saturday or lunch on Sunday.

The InnerCircle, located on the second floor, just south of the escalators, is home to Sbarro Express. Unfortunately, Freshens Yogurt and Subway (also located in this area) are usually closed weekends and will not be open during the conference.


Have Dinner with Da Locals!

Chicago area universities are hosting dinners at local restaurants for groups of 10 - 20 on a first-come first serve basis. There are a number of restaurants to choose from with a number of different price ranges. Go to the CCC Concourse between 4:45 and 5:15 on Friday or Saturday night. The locals will be holding signs with names of restaurants, price ranges and their schools. A great way to meet people and explore Chicago!
