Scholarship Information

We are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of scholarships to cover the registration cost for the conference. We are formally encouraging high school students to apply for these scholarships and participate in the conference! Additional scholarships based on financial need are available. (Please follow the guidelines as stated for high school students.)

Applications will be on a first come, first considered basis so please apply as soon as possible along with your conference registration. We have extended the deadline to submit completed scholarship applications to January 15, 1998.

Because of the limited funds allocated for scholarships, we are asking that those applying to:

1. pay as much as they can;
2. submit a breakdown (estimated is okay) of your costs, funds available (including what you can raise), and funds needed from us (max. registration cost)
3. write a 200 word essay.

These three requirements will help us determine your commitment and need. Please do consider that the more you can contribute to your registration, the more scholarships we can offer. Thank you.
