LambdaACOA is a personal growth discussion list, created on September 23, 1998 for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families.
Some people may want to know "What is an ACOA?" or "Why is it hard to be both g/l/b/t and ACOA?" New links will also appear as a resource for the community. The LambdaACOA list is a private list and none of its archives may be viewed, so confidentiality is maintained and trust is preserved. The group or email list is not a therapy group, but a valuable self help tool on the internet.
There are many mixed ACOA groups, but this is the first and only ACOA group on the web for the G/L/B/T community.
