NAFSA
Many LGBT students need financial assistance to get through undergraduate or graduate studies. Encourage them to check out the Financial Aid for Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Students web site. It lists general, state-specific, campus-specific, and high school scholarships. Sadly, there aren't very many for Illinois listed. If you know of a scholarship missing from their list, please let them know.
