LESBIAN-WRITERS
Lesbian-writers is a networking, discussion and announcements list forlesbians who are or aspire to be published writers. List members frequentlycontribute works in progress for feedback and commentary, and discussiontopics range from how to publish in mainstream journals to the ethics ofediting a "lesbian only" publication. SEARCHING
SEARCHING is a mailing list for lesbians over 35 who wish to engage in lively conversation about ethical, moral and spiritual issues. We encourage people to share the things that matter to them whether they be global, local or strictly personal issues. Although the name may seem misleading on the surface, this is not a place to search for dates or personal contacts.
The list is expected to be high participation among a small group of people. The list membership will never exceed 50 women at any one time. We would like to see at least one post a week from each participant so this is not the list for people who do not have the time to participate. We understand there are times when one can't post that frequently. It is just a guideline.
The covenant of this list is one in which all members and the list management agree to respect each other, respect individuality, each woman's talents and the special things we bring to the collective table. There are a few rules and these rules are firm. That is that we further agree to respect bandwidth (no overquoting or one-liners), we do not flame each other or engage in divide-and-conquer techniques when it seems that things are not going in the direction we might individually choose. While discussion of list direction and suggestions for its improvement are welcome, there will be no 'processing.'
