Participants will include educators, adminstrators, youth service providers, pa rents, straight allies, young people, clergy, politicians and activists. The weekend will include a wide variety of entertainment, including videos, a special benefit concert by the musical-comedy duo Dos Fallopia, and a perform ance of Dr. Bonnie Morris' one-woman play "Revenge of the Women's Studies Professor". Workshops, seminars and keynote speeches will focus on topics such as how homophobia limits educational oportunity for both gay and straight students. The conference will include two luncheons. Keynote speakers will be openly gay former school board member Jonathan Wilson and Phoebe Hanshew, a student at Bloomington South H.S. who is working tirelessly to establish a gay/straight student alliance in that conservative setting.
