Don't Whine, Organize-- The Grassroots Organizing weekends have been developed by student and community organizers to give students the tools to solve the problems that students face. The GROW training is designed to help you: * Overcome campus apathy * Develop strategies to win specific issues campaigns * Gain hands on organizing experience * Build more effective *coalitions* among campus groups and with community groups * Increase the membership funding, reputation, and influence of your organization. Session details-- Trained activists possessing diverse skills and experiences facilitate each session. The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual transgender GROW training is a full 2-and-a-half day training seminar starting Friday, 12.May.95 at 18:00 CDT to Sunday, 14.May at 17:00. The workshops involve all participants and build on one another. It is critical that participants make a commitment to attend the entire session.
