MOO Projects

A MOO offers a wealth of tools that can be used to implement dramatic new pedagogies. If you have MOOed before you might be aware of the options available to the intrepid and dedicated instructor. If you have not and would like to know more, we have compiled a list of links to writing projects involving interactivities on various MOOs. Feel free to invent your own! We ask only that you build strategically in order to maintain a cohesiveness of the MOO and that you allow us to document your work for the inspiration of others. CURRENT UIC PROJECTS:
  • The UIC Writing Center conducts online tutoring sessions in rooms designed by tutors Rebecca De Wind Mattingly, Margaret Gonzales, and Candice Rai.
  • Jennifer Cohen, Daniel Gonzalez and Kevin Smith led a summer 2000 course for High School Students: High Velocity Summer Program. As part of the project students were required to create technological inventions you may view in the Exhibition Hall of the Purple Matrix.
