We are excited that you have selected UIC to pursue your undergraduate education and look forward to meeting you at orientation! By addressing your specific needs as a new student, the UIC Orientation Program is designed to help you make the most of your UIC experience, and is an important step in making this a meaningful transition.
UIC is proud to offer a separate yet concurrent UIC Orientation Program for parents and guests. The UIC Parent and Guest Orientation Program is an excellent opportunity to help parents and guests become familiar with the campus and its resources, policies, and procedures. UIC believes that families play a significant role in a students adjustment to college life. This program will provide your parents and family members with the information needed to better support you during your transition to UIC.
To schedule your orientation session, please log into my.UIC.edu and go to the "UIC Connect" tab. Here you will find the orientation portlet under "Pathway to Enrollment." Please choose a date to attend for your intended academic program. We recommend choosing the first date available for a wider selection of courses. You will receive an email confirmation of your reservation from the UIC Orientation Program at least two weeks prior to your scheduled date.
