A fee for orientation will be assessed to your university bill. Please make payment for this charge as soon as possible after orientation. You can access your university bill and make an online payment at paymybill.uillinois.edu.
Medical Immunization for the Illinois Department of Public Health requires that all students living in Campus Housing and born on/ or after January 1, 1957 and entering a post-secondary institution are required to present documented proof of immunity within the first term of enrollment. See registrar.uic.edu and select “Records” for more details.

CampusCare is the University-Based Student Health Benefit Program that is automatically provided and charged to all new UIC students upon registration. The charge for CampusCare is shown on your student account (e-Bill). If you are covered by another insurance provider, such as that available through your parents or your employer, and if you want to waive out, you MUST follow online steps to waive the CampusCare Program in order to avoid being charged for the CampusCare fee. The Spring 2015 Benefit Change Period deadline is Sunday, February 8, 2015. All forms must be submitted online before that date. Please visit the CampusCare website at uic.edu/hsc/campuscare to learn more about the program, to access all online forms, print ID Cards, view your benefits, and to locate CampusCare Health Center physicians.
Make sure your housing plans are in order, whether you are living on or off campus. If you have decided to live on campus, please make sure that all your housing forms are submitted to the Campus Housing Office. Once you arrive on campus in the fall semester, be sure to pick up your U-PASS, which will allow you to use the CTA rail and bus transportation. Passes are distributed at the Student Services Building (1200 West Harrison Street) beginning five days prior to the start of the semester. Please note you must be enrolled as a full- time student in order to be eligible for a CTA U-PASS.
Visit the Student Accounts Receivable Office, become familiar with the staff and services provided and learn more about billing and payment policies. Visit paymybill.uillinois.edu for more information. The Fall 2014 tuition and fee payment deadline is September 28, 2014.
If you are commuting to campus during your first semester at UIC you are encouraged to attend one of the Commuter Connection Days being offered on January 8 or January 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. By participating in this informative program you will meet other incoming commuter students, become further acclimated to the campus, and learn through commuter-related workshops. Sample topics include getting involved on campus, transit and commuting tips, staying safe on and around campus, as well as spending time at the Commuter Student Resource Center. Students enrolled full-time will be eligible to obtain the CTA Ventra U-Pass during this program. Commuter Connection Days is a free program, but an RSVP is required. Refreshments are provided in the morning as well as lunch at a neighborhood restaurant in early afternoon. For more information and to register, visit commuter.uic.edu.
