Should you need to cancel or adjust an existing reservation for orientation, please do so a minimum of seven days prior to your scheduled date by changing your reservation status in my.UIC.edu. If you are unable please call (312) 996-3271 for assistance.
Cancellations can be made through my.UIC.edu or by submitting your cancellation in writing either by email at email@example.com or by fax at (312) 996-3101. Please provide your full name, UIN, and orientation date in the message. Cancellations cannot be made over the phone or by voicemail. Changes or cancellations made less than seven days prior to the scheduled date of your program will result in the respective orientation fees being assessed, regardless of your attendance to the university.
Additionally, failure to attend your scheduled orientation program by you or your guests will result in the appropriate orientation fees being applied to your student account. If you have scheduled an orientation and then decide to adjust your enrollment status (such as deferred or withdraw from the University) you MUST:
Cancel your orientation reservation online through my.UIC.edu or by submitting your cancellation in writing either by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax at (312) 996-3101 seven days prior to your scheduled orientation to notify the office of your cancellation of your orientation program date.
Log on to my.UIC.edu to adjust your Intent to Enroll status, the official method through which to inform the university. (netID and common password are needed).
