Students who already have a Bachelor's degree:
We do not offer a Master's in Spanish or French Teaching. If you already have a Bachelor's degree and would like a Master's and a Teaching Certificate, you must apply for the
Master's program in Instructional
Leadership
in the College of Education
...with specialization in Spanish or
French. You must also complete all of the courses
in Spanish/French that are required
for undergraduates.
If you have already completed some of these in your undergraduate studies,
your transcript will be evaluated to determine which courses will receive
credit and which courses you may still need complete at UIC.
Additionally, Spanish M.Ed. students must complete two (2) Spanish courses at the 400- or 500-level, one about linguistics/language and the other about literature.
