FIVE TEAMS. ONE CASE. THREE JUDGES. ONE WINNER.
UIC prides itself of developing student who are critical thinkers and exhibit strong leadership attributes.
Each semester students will test their leadership skills as they compete for first place while attempting to navigate their way through a leadership case study.
What does it mean to participate in the Leadership Case Study Competition?
It means any group of 2 or 3 UIC students will be considered a team. The team will receive a case study (a scenario involving students dealing with a conflict) one week before the competition to review and answer questions critically and strategically. The team will compete against other teams by presenting their feedback to the case study at the competition before three judges. The judges will deliberate and select a winning team which will be announced at the reception following the presentations. The reception and presentation of the prize to the winning team will conclude the Student Leadership Case Study Competition.
