SLDVS - LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

The Leadership Development Programs strive to foster leadership development for students in multi-disciplinary aspects of campus life. Our array of programs are designed to expose the campus to leaders from throughout UIC and the Chicago-land area, differentiate between management and true leadership concepts / theory, and determine how to put leadership into action in everyday life.

Students, faculty, and staff may:
  • take individual leadership assessments to learn what type of leader they are, their personality type, preferred learning style, the role they typically play during conflicts, their strengths/weakness, and much more.
  • receive assistance developing specific leadership programs for their organization, staff, etc.
  • request a Leadership Needs Assessment for their group to determine what areas of leadership development should be focused on through programming.
