Workshops on Demand is designed to offer students a multitude of development options, allowing students to take control of their growth and provide them with choices and topics to learn from. Students may request specialized workshops to be presented to your audience.
To secure a workshop or seminar, please fill out the Workshop Request Form and send to sldvs@uic.edu.
Requests must be submitted three (3) weeks prior to the intended workshop date.
A programming team member will contact you about your request to arrange a meeting. For student organizations, we encourage two (2) members to attend this meeting. In order to prepare your workshop by your preferred date, this meeting needs to happen in a timely manner.

- True Colors® (requires at least two hours for each presentation / there is a fee associated with this assessment - fees may be waived upon at the discretion of the staff)
True Colors® is an interactive way to discover strengths and have a better understanding of yourself and others. Through assessment, activities, and group projects this seminar will offer a fun and active approach to leadership. Other personality theories label people as one thing. No person is one pure ‘color’ – we all have traits to varying degrees and mixes. The True Colors methodology is the only one that recognizes that we all have all four ‘colors’ in us, just in varying degrees.
True Colors® is a model of personality identification that improves communication through recognition of a person’s true character. Utilizing the colors of orange, green, blue, and gold to differentiate four basic personality types, True Colors becomes an uncomplicated language for every individual to convey complex ideas very simply.
