COMMUNITY SERVICE / VOLUNTEERISM
The Community Service/ Volunteerism programs serve to promote community engagement through service, while helping students develop a sense of responsibility and accomplishment. The Community Service/ Volunteerism programs provide educational and interactive community service experiences that help alleviate identified community needs while challenging and supporting students’ growth and learning.
We view community service activities along a continuum based upon the amount of personal investment related to the service performed and the learning that takes place as a result of the service.

Opportunities for those seeking to serve their local communities or travel overseas will be highlighted and information made available. There will be an open question and answer session following the panel.
