Summer College 2009

The Study Abroad Office advisors work one-on-one with students to find a program abroad which meets their academic and personal needs. There are over 200 program possibilities world-wide where students can earn UIC credit toward graduation. As Summer College students, you have the advantage of thinking early about how to integrate a term abroad into your academic plan. The process begins with:

FIRST STEP ADVISING SESSIONS

This is a 45 minute presentation which takes place in the Study Abroad Resource Room in 502 University Hall. It is open to all UIC students and led by Study Abroad staff on the how, what, when, where, and why of studying abroad. You will also find out about scholarship and other cost reduction opportunities - over $585,000 benefitted UIC students going abroad in the past five years.

You can also enter a drawing for great prizes by completing a specially designed crossword puzzle (click here) and submitting to the Study Abroad Office. Four winning entries of complete and correct puzzles will be randomly drawn at the Summer College picnic on July 9th .
