First Step

First Step advising sessions are mandatory for all study abroad applicants as a starting point for the application process. A 20 minute First Step PowerPoint presentation will review how to select the best program for your needs, and review the application, advising, course approval and registration processes.

Sessions are held in the Study Abroad Resource room (502 UH) on the schedule below. The maximum seating is 20 per session on a first come – first served basis. The presentation will start on time. Late arrivals will have to come to another session...

March 1st is the deadline for the following UIC Faculty-Led Programs:
Buenos Aires, Argentina: Contemporary Argentine Fiction and Film
London, United Kingdom: Great Cities London
Oaxaca, Mexico: Spanish Language and Culture for Bilingual Students

March 22nd is the deadline for the following UIC Faculty-Led Programs:
Cuernavaca, Mexico: Community Development in a Global Society
Lima, Peru: Constituyo Archaeological Field School
Siena, Italy: Italian Language and Culture

March 22nd is also the FINAL deadline for all other programs
