Affiliations

Affiliated programs are delivered by individual US colleges/universities, academic consortia, or third party program providers with accreditation through a US college or university ‘school of record'. Additionally, there are some universities abroad where we have direct relationships. The Forum on Education Abroad's Standards of Good Practice and Code of Ethics are two main benchmarks we use for affiliation. Although we do not normally support participation in programs that are on the US Department of State Travel Warning list, in some circumstances students are permitted to petition.

Our principle affiliations include, but are not limited to:

Alliance for Expanded Study in Overseas Programs (AESOP/CIC):  Allows UIC students to participate in ex officio status in study abroad programs sponsored by CIC institutions.
Alliance for Global Education: a partnership of the Arcadia University's College of Global Studies and Butler University's Institute for Study Abroad.
