Dr. Issel serves on the planning committee for the Maternal and Child Health Leadership Conference. She is clinical assistant professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Issel was Assistant Professor at the University of Texas School of Nursing from 1992-1997. She has done extensive research on case management and perinatal outcomes.
