Dr. McDaniel is a Professor of Management Science and Information Systems at the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the USA Institute of Managed Care, Inc., and an Academic Representative-at-Large for the Health Care Management Division of the Academy of Management. Dr. McDaniel has authored several book chapters on health care management and reform, and has contributed articles to several scholarly journals on health services admnistration and other related topics. Dr. McDaniel regularly offers his consulting services to health organizations throughout the nation.
