Dr. Peacock is an Associate Professor of Community Health Sciences at the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has conducted extensive anthropogical research in central Africa using both qualitative and quantitative approaches to studying health and behavior. Dr. Peacock also conducted ethnographic research on pregnancy in African American women in Los Angeles utilizing focus groups, participant observation and interviews. Dr. Peacock is also involved in a variety of research projects dealing with HIV/AIDS prevention and improving pregnancy outcomes.
