Dr. Walton is an Assistant Professor entering his second year in the Department of Pharmacy Administration at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He received his graduate education in economics and completed his Ph.D. thesis "An analysis of health care labor markets" in 1997 at the University of Chicago. His research interests are in health, and labor economics as well as pharmacoeconomics. He has taught courses in microeconomic principles, and management, and will be teaching pharmacoeconomics during the upcoming year.
