The School of Public Health began putting courses online in Fall 1997 using funding from UI-Online. The School now offers a number of courses which utilize the Internet. There are a number of fully online credit courses and many courses which have associated web sites.
Online courses are available to both matriculated students and students with credit non-degree status.
Currently, up to 12 semester hours can be taken in a credit non-degree status and applied toward a degree at UIC-SPH if accepted into our program.
Credit non-degree students are accepted every semester; however, the number accepted is limited. Therefore, students are encouraged to apply early.
Once accepted into the program, credit non-degree students must contact the School's registrar to enroll in the online courses.
