1998-99: Used the season as a redshirt season, but practiced with the
squad.
Prep Highlights: As a senior at St. Ignatius, topped the squad with
averages of 16.1 ppg and 8.1 rpg to lead the Wolfpack to a 17-11 overall record…shot
57% from the field and 67% at the charity stripe while compiling 45 assists,
19 steals and a team-high 67 blocked shots…scored a personal-best 30 points
versus Wheaton Warrenville South and grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds versus
DeLaSalle…selected to the Daily Southtown's All-Area Team following the
year…earned Chicago Catholic League North All-Conference honors as a junior
and senior and was also Chicago Sun-Times All-Area Honorable Mention
both seasons…as a junior, averaged 12.3 ppg and 9.4 rpg…hit 51% from the field
while tallying 43 assists, 13 steals and 72 blocked shots…scored a season-high
22 points against York Township and had a personal-best 15 rebounds against
Leo High School.
