contests this season, of which she started 17...led the Flames and ranked
fifth in the MCC in assists, averaging 3.14 per game...1.22
assist-to-turnover ratio was third-best in the MCC...finished her career
eighth on the UIC all-time assists list with 269, while standing ninth on
the three-point field goal percentage list at .293...scored a season-best
eight points, dished out a career-high eight helpers and hit the
game-winning free throw with no time left on the clock in overtime to beat
Chicago State on Dec. 5...scored eight points, grabbed four rebounds and
totaled five assists versus Wyoming on Nov. 27.
1997-98: Appeared in all 27 games, earning the starting nod
at the point
on 21 occasions...shot a team-best .800 from the free throw
line...averaged a career-best 5.0 points per game and ranked among the
conference leaders with 3.3 assists per outing...scored in double figures
five times, including a career-best 18 points versus Loyola on Jan.
10...followed that up with a 16-point effort against Northeastern
Illinois...posted 14 points and equaled then personal bests with seven
assists and five rebounds at Northern Illinois...led team with 12 points
versus Wisconsin-Green Bay on Feb. 26...finished second on the squad with
41 steals...dished out six or more assists on four occasions...named to
the MCC Academic Honor Roll…UIC Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
1996-97: Starter in the final seven games of the
season...played in all
27 games, at the point guard position...opened the season in stellar
fashion registering a career-high 13 points on 4-of-4 shooting from the
field and foul line at Northwestern...had four points and three assists in
victory over Missouri-Kansas City in the Holiday Inn-Overland Park
Classic...gained her first starting assignment of the season on Feb. 13
versus Detroit as she totaled three rebounds and a pair of
assists...scored six points, going 6-for-6 from the charity stripe in
victory over Chicago State...played a career-high 38 minutes in overtime
win over Loyola...averaged 3.9 assists per game as a starter...over the
final four games of the season, averaged 4.8 helpers per game while
committing just 1.3 turnovers per contest...dished out six assists and
committed just one turnover at Wisconsin-Milwaukee...scored 10 points and
handed out seven assists in regular season finale versus Wisconsin-Green
Bay...named to the MCC Academic Honor Roll.
1995-96: Appeared in 31 games, earning a start against
Bradley..scored a
season-high 12 points on two occasions...scored in double figures on four
occasions, all
off the bench, and was the highest scoring backcourt reserve...passed for
season-high seven assists against Wisconsin-Milwaukee...averaged 4.6 ppg
in MCC play, shooting .433 from the floor...played strongly at Northern
Illinois, hitting 2-for-2 three-point field goals and scoring eight
points.
HIGH SCHOOL: Closed out her high school career as Downers
Grove South MVP
in her senior season...averaged 13.6 ppg and 6.6 rpg in leading the
Mustangs to a 21-8 record...shot 78.0% from the free throw line, the
highest in the area...named to the Daily Herald's All-Area team and was
hailed as one of the 12 best female athletes in DuPage County...received
all-state special mention and all-conference honors...lettered four years
in basketball and softball.
