1998-99: Named first team All-MCC...started all 27
games...led UIC in
scoring (15.0 ppg), rebounding (5.0) and steals (47)..was second on the
team in assists (73) and three-point field goals (22)...only MCC
competitor to rank in the top-11 in scoring (3rd), rebounding (11th) and
assists (10th)...shattered personal-bests in every statistical
category...fourth on UIC single-season list for free throws attempted
(185) and tied for fourth with Joanne McCarthy for free throws made
(134)...stands seventh on the career free throw percentage list
(.739)...scored in double-figures in all but four games, with a stretch of
double-digit outings that ran from Dec. 28 to Feb. 13...scored a career
high 22 points, converting 16-of-18 from the free throw line, to go along
with eight boards and four assists versus Loyola on Feb. 6...eclipsed the
20-plus point total four other times - against Boston University (21),
DePaul (21) and twice versus Detroit (21)...corralled a season-high nine
rebounds while adding 17 points versus Northern Illinois on Nov.
23...recorded a season-best seven assists at home versus Detroit on Feb.
20....tallied a career-high six steals at Valparaiso.
1997-98: Emerged as a key contributor late in the season
after missing
eight games early on with a stress fracture...averaged 6.8 points, 3.1
rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game...started the last four
games in the backcourt in place of Jackie Gray and averaged 10.0 ppg, 5.0
rpg and 4.0 apg in those contests...scored in double digits on eight
occasions, including in six of the final seven games of the season...tied
for the team lead in free throw percentage, converting 80% of her
shots...made an impression on the coaching staff with her hustle and
scrappy play...contributed five points, four steals and three rebounds in
the season opener versus Northern Iowa...tallied 11 points off the bench
against Valparaiso in her first significant action since returning from
the stress fracture...posted 10 points versus Detroit on perfect shooting
from both the field (4-for-4) and foul line (2-for-2)...averaged 11.1 ppg
over the final seven games of the year...scored a season-best 18 points,
the most by a Flames freshman since 1993, against Butler...one of the
team's top long-range shooters as well, drilling 44.8% of her three-point
attempts.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 17.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.8 steals
and
4.0
assists per game in guiding Muskego to a 15-8 record as a senior
season...wrapped up her varsity career with 1,047 points...two-time
all-conference selection...second team all-state pick by the Wisconsin
Basketball Coaches Association...earned honorable mention all-state
accolades from the Associated Press...three-time team MVP...Second Team
All-Southeastern Wisconsin...also lettered in volleyball and softball.
