1998-99: Turned in one of UIC's finest freshman performances
in school
history...played in all 27 games, starting in 14 contests... broke the
single-season record for field goal percentage held by Jasmine Strange,
shooting .549 percent...also sits atop the career field goal percentage
list...ended the season fifth on the single-season free throw percentage
list, hitting .812 of her shots from the charity stripe...was the Flames
third-leading scorer (9.2 ppg) and second-leading rebounder (4.0
rpg)...earned MCC Player of the Week honors on Feb. 22 after averaging
17.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg off the bench in games versus Cleveland State and
Detroit...had her first career double-double, with 15 points and a
career-best 11 rebounds, in the MCC Championship quarterfinal loss to
Detroit on March 4...reached her career high of 18 points twice, with both
high-scoring outings coming at the expense of Cleveland State...was a
perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line at Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Feb.
27...also grabbed eight boards versus the Panthers...scored in
double-figures on 14 occasions, including in seven straight.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 16.4 points and 10.0 rebounds per game
as a senior
at Hartland Arrowhead High School...finished her career as the school's
second all-time leading scorer with 1,218 points...also ranked second in
career rebounds with 667...honorable mention all-state selection...first
team all-conference and all-county...named Waukesha County Player of the
Year...second team all-area selection by the Milwaukee Journal
Sentinel...ranked No. 1 in her class of 427 students...member of the
National Honor Society...posted a 4.0 grade point average...lettered in
basketball, volleyball and softball.
