1998: Saved her best for last in '98, setting career highs on
the vault
and the floor exercise at the Midwest Independent Championships…her score
of 9.875 on the floor gave her a conference title tie with teammate
Gabriella Brunn…a 9.700 on the vault placed her in fifth…tied her career
high on the floor one week later at the NIT, scoring a 9.875 for the NIT
Championship…also set a career best on the uneven bars at the NIT with a
9.700…added a first place finish in '98 at home versus Illinois State on
the floor with a 9.800…named to the All-State and All-Conference team on
the floor exercise and earned Scholastic All-State and All-Conference
honors.
1997: At the Midwest Independent Championships, scored a
9.70 on the floor
exercise for UIC's second-highest score…landed a 9.675 on the vault
against Illinois State on March 2 to set a career-high and then equaled
that score at the Illinois Classic two weeks later…in the meet with ISU
also hit a personal-best 9.70 on the floor exercise.
1996: Saw limited action in her freshman season because of a
nagging back
injury that forced her miss a majority of the meets…hit a season-high
9.575 on the floor exercise against Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Feb. 4…recorded a
9.475 on the floor against Northern Illinois.
Personal/Prep: Participated in the Level 9 National meet in
Colorado
during 1993…captured top honors on the floor exercise at the 1994 Level 10
USGF Regionals…took second place on the floor in '94 with a second-place
finish at the USAIGC Level 10 Nationals held in Florida…serves as a
representative on the UIC Student Advisory Committee…majoring in
Kinesiology…born May 17, 1977…daughter of Joe and Lorraine Frederick.
