1998: Competed in six meets as a freshman for the Flames…set
her season
and career high on the vault at home versus S.E. Missouri State with a
9.575, and a seventh place finish…scored a season and career high on the
balance beam with a 9.675 at the Midwest Independent Championships…tallied
a 9.575 on the balance beam at the NIT.
Personal/Prep: Last season, she took home a second-place
finish at the
United States Power Tumbling Championships and was named the Female
Tumbler of the Year for her effort…claimed fifth place in the all-around
competition at the USAG Level 10 California state championships…at the
Explosion Invitational in Idaho, she took home first place as an
all-arounder…was an alternate to the USAG Level 10 national team…took
first place at the California State Power Tumbling Championships while
finishing second at the Regional Power Tumbling Championships…also
competed as a varsity diver at Lincoln High School for three years…plans
to major in Communications…born June 10, 1979…daughter of Ken and Karen
