1998-99: A successful summer of training will highlight Anthony into the NCAA Championshps on floor exercise this year!!
1997-98: Anthony did not compete in any competitions for UIC...He did compete for Gym-Kenetics in the Jr. Elite level of the USAG program. At the Region 5 competition he won the floor exercise event and then got injured on the vault. The injury to his ankle kept him fro advancing to the National Championships at Ann Arbor, MI.
Prep/Personal: Lettered four years at Homewood/Flossmoor while also lettering in hockey....was the Illinois State Champion on the floor exercise event scoreing a new State record of 9.70...he shared the vault state title with a score of 9.6....only H-F gymnast to achieve consecutive single event championships...finished second in the all around with a score of 54.25 and a fourth place finish on the horizontal bar with a 9.1...majoring in Kinesiology...born November 22, 1979...son of Jerry and Pat Cirullo.
