This section is intended to be a comprehensive collection of essential information regarding the administration of Student Employment, including the Federal Work Study Program and Regular Student Employment, at the University of Illinois at Chicago. It is useful for Deans, Directors, and Department Heads, as well as their Student Employment Representatives who are responsible for the administration of student employees in their respective units. The terms "Student Employment" and "Job Center" used in this handbook refer to employment coordinated by the Student Employment Office. Unless otherwise specified, information presented in this handbook applies to students working under both the Regular Student Employment (RSE) and the Federal Work Study (FWS) Programs. As changes occur, the information in these web pages will be changed accordingly.
