In an effort to better serve you, the Student Employment Office has an electronic system for job postings called UICCareers.  At UICCareers YOU can find postings for:

• On-Campus positions - Federal Work Study (FWS) & Regular Student Employment (RSE)
• Off-Campus listings that are career-related/internship positions - a part of the Job Location & Development Program
• General Off-Campus postings - labeled "Part-Time Local"
• and more  . . .

To log in

1. Go to http://www.uiccareers.com
2. Enter your username (which is your NetID including @uic.edu) and password
3. Click on “Login”

Note: If you are unable to login to UICCAREERS.COM, it is possible that you do not have an active account for the website. To register: send your full name, UIN number and NetID to studentjobs@uic.edu, or contact the Student Employment Office at 312-996-3130.

Once logged in you can use all the system’s tools that are listed below:
-Post your resume and allow employers to see it
-Update your profile so your information is accurate
-Search for jobs (on-campus and off-campus)
-Set up job search agents to be notified automatically of new position

2. Graduate Assistantships

Lastly, students may also find a part-time job by contacting the department, office or campus unit where they wish to work. Often departments advertise job openings on their own departmental bulletin boards. Students also hear of job openings by talking directly to staff or other students.
