The primary purpose of the Federal Work Study Program is to provide part-time employment opportunities for students who have financial need. Federal Work Study is part of a student’s financial aid package. To be considered for the Federal Work Study Program, students must file for financial aid each academic year and be eligible for FWS based on their. Students must work in order to utilize the Federal Work Study award.
