Student ID (i-card)

Summer Session Only students will need to get a student ID (i-card) only if they want to use one of several campus services: parking assignment, computer labs, check books out from the library, dining hall or use any of the UIC recreation facilities.

If you are a student at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana or University of Illinois at Springfield, you can use your ID from your home school for most services. (If you want to use any of the recreation facilities, you’ll need to get a UIC i-card).

To get an i-card, bring your valid driver's license, state ID, or passport and a copy of your summer schedule to one of the Photo ID Offices listed below. You will not be issued an i-card without this information.

East Campus Photo ID Office
Location: Student Services Building (SSB), 1200 W. Harrison Street, Suite 1790

West Campus Photo ID Office

Please note that the i-card is the property of the University and must be returned to the Photo ID Office. There is a charge to replace lost or stolen i-cards.
