Billing

The University no longer mails out bills. Instead, it has implemented an electronic billing (E-bill) program that allows students to view their monthly billing statement online. At the beginning of the month, currently enrolled students will receive an email notification sent to their UIC email address indicating that the online statement, called an E-Bill, is available.

If you register in May for summer courses, regardless whether they are in the 4-week or 8-week session, you will be sent an email notification about your E-bill in early June. June tuition and fee payments are due on June 23. If you register in June for summer courses in the 8-week session, you will be sent an email notification about your E-bill in early July. July tuition and fee payments are due on July 25.

If your student account is past due, a hold will be placed on your academic records. This hold precludes you from registering for any subsequent terms. In addition, transcripts will not be released until your student account has been paid in full.

Please note that unpaid balances may be referred to a collection agency. The University of Illinois at Chicago may take legal action against students whose accounts remain unpaid.

For more information about E-Bills, how to access and pay your bill, and how to authorize someone else to view and pay your bill, visit the University Student Financial Services and Cashier Operations website.
