Request Transcripts

If you are a visiting student and are planning to transfer your courses back to your home school, you will need to have your UIC transcript sent to your home school.

Methods for Requesting a Transcript

You can request a transcript in one of four ways:

For complete instructions on ordering a transcript, refer to the Transcripts page on the Office of Admissions and Records (OAR) website, or contact OAR at (312) 996-4350.

There is a charge for each transcript.

Availability of Transcripts

Transcripts may not be available for up to two weeks after a term's final exams have ended.

Transcripts will not be released if there is a hold on your record (i.e. if tuition and fees have not been paid in full).

Note about Submitting a Transcript Request through Student Self Service

If you use this convenient new option, you will not need to send a signature page to the Transcript Office.

When you order a transcript through Student Self Service, the transcript fee will be charged to your UIC student account. Please be sure to check your student account online and submit payment to University Student Financial Services and Cashier Operations in order to avoid late charges.

Note: The University does not mail out bills to currently enrolled students, but rather uses electronic billing. At the beginning of the month, students receive an email notification to let them know that their electronic bill, called an E-bill, is available. You do not need to wait until you receive a billing statement before you submit payment.

You can view your current student account balance online by following the steps below:

  1. Go to UIC Web for Student and log in to Student Self-Service with your EnterpriseID and password
  2. Select "Account Billing Information"
  3. Select "Student Account Summary."

Instructions for submitting payment are available on the Payment page of the University Student Financial Services and Cashier Operations (USFSCO) website. If you have any questions about submitting payment, please contact USFSCO at (312) 996-8574
