Student ID (i-card)

The University Student ID, also known as the i-card, is not required for Summer Session Only students. However, you will need one if you want to get a parking assignment, use campus computer labs, check books out from the library, or use any of the UIC recreation facilities.

If you are a student at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana or University of Illinois at Springfield, you can use your ID from your home school for most services.

To get an i-card, bring your valid driver's license, state ID, or passport and a copy of your summer schedule to one of the Photo ID Offices listed below. You will not be issued an i-card without this information.

East Campus Photo ID Office
Location: Student Services Building (SSB), 1200 W. Harrison Street, Suite 1790

West Campus Photo ID Office

Please note that the i-card is the property of the University and must be returned to the Photo ID Office. There is a charge to replace lost or stolen i-cards.
