Education in Surgical Oncology ranges from introduction to primary research techniques that will be used to study behaviors of the various cancer diseases and their responses to anti-cancer materials, to clinical diagnosis and treatment. Trainees under multi-departmental mentorship develop and conduct research projects that may unlock more secrets of cancer behavior leading to better treatments and cures.

It is our goal to incite interest in cancer research at every level of higher education to ensure a future of scientists and physicians who will develop new ideas, research them, conduct clinical trials and gain approvals for therapies to increase the cure rate for cancers.
