apply apply

This 5-week course teaches students the proper techniques for formal workplace and academic writing. An experienced writing instructor gives detailed feedback and instruction on each student's writing style, grammar, punctuation and vocabulary use. Students are encouraged to bring writing from their workplace or academic setting to this class. This course is designed for intermediate to advanced non-native speakers of English.

In this course, students will:

  • Learn techniques to write for maximum clarity and effectiveness.
  • Develop a more organized, coherent writing style.
  • Review advanced grammar and punctuation rules in order to reduce the error patterns in their writing.
  • Receive individualized feedback from experienced instructors in a small-group setting.
