In December,
learn how the holidays are celebrated in Chicago AND improve
your English skills.
Holiday
Chicago is a short course from December 4 - 19 that
will combine language classes and activities celebrating
Chicago during the holiday season.
Activities
in the program include

Christmas around the World at the Museum of Science
and Industry

skating in Millenium Park
- Traditional
holiday baking class
- Singing
carols at Cloud Gate in Millenium Park
- Tour
Macey's Holiday Window Display and lunch at the Walnut
Room
- Christkindlmarket
in Daley Plaza and Window shopping on Michigan Avenue
- Zoo
lights in Lincoln Park
- Hanukkah
Celebration
- Holiday
movies, stories and songs
The
program includes 15-20 hours of classroom practice and
activities per week. Holiday Chicago is designed for students
with intermediate and advanced level proficiency in English.

Holiday
Chicago generally meets 3 days per week from 10:00 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m. The schedule varies depending on the day's
planned activities.
Fee
$480, includes transportation to and from events, admission
to ticketed events, and course materials.
Please note: Food and beverages purchased by participants
at events is not included in the program fee.
In
addition, we will offer optional events. These events will
require a separate registration and an additional fee ranging
from $15 - $60. Please note that the optional events
may be cancelled and fee refunded if registration is not
sufficient.
