This course is designed to prepare students for the challenges of TOEFL iBT.
The TOEFL iBT evaluates the four core language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Every problem tests as many as three language skills at once.
This course helps students gain experience and confidence with the iBT TOEFL leading to better test results. In this course, students will:
- Practice
and learn key test-taking strategies for the TOEFL iBT
- Practice
individual test sections of the TOEFL iBT using the integrated
skills test format
- Learn
techniques to build vocabulary
- Review
key grammar points
- Improve
listening comprehension skills
- Write
and receive feedback on practice essays
- Improve
test performance under time limits
- Take
a complete practice test of the TOEFL iBT
- Receive
individual instruction in small classes
Because
the Tutorium is an official TOEFL iBT Test Location, this
course takes place in the same computer lab where the official
TOEFL iBT is administered.
